C10 Nationals Texas 2025
I started off the show spotting one of the most incredible trucks I’ve seen. If the bright orange color didn’t get your attention, the racing style will do the job. The C10 had carbon fiber aero pieces and a bed mounted radiator. When it was fired up, you could see everyone’s heads turn immediately to the direction of the roaring V8.
Our next stop was to our own Texas neighbors of Pro Touring Texas. Their motto is build high horsepower LS powered vehicles that get driven. Now that doesn’t mean they won’t look showroom ready, because they were some of the cleanest rides in the whole show. With me currently looking for a Suburban to purchase, my eyes were locked on their 800 horsepower 1972 Suburban. Slammed to the ground but ready to air up, this would be the perfect family hauler for me!
Crossing over to the other half of Texas Motor Speedway, you got to see the inner track being used for autocross. The combination of high powered V8s, rear-wheel-drive, and low amount of weigh in the rear, made for an awesome show of on the edge control.
I would highly recommend attending a C10 Nationals event near you if you’re wanting to have a great time at all the incredible variations you’ll see based on one model platform. My only warning is to be ready to lust for one and start online shopping for a C10.
