2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Review: Value Luxury

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy shows a luxury design at a relatively low price!

The front of the Palisade shows that Hyundai designers are able to be bold. The daytime running lights have a futuristic but retro feel to them that grabs your attention. The true headlights hide in the black trim of the from. The big 21-inch wheels offer a great look to the big body luxurious SUV look. One of my favorite designs of the Palisade is the short rear bumper that gives it a similar look to the Range Rover.

Getting in the Palisade and the Calligraphy trim really shines. The seats have everything you’ll want like heating, venting, and massaging. You also get the relaxation mode for the 1st and 2nd row which will allows you to rest when you go on long road trips. The infotainment screen was nicely sunken into the dashboard to fight any reflections while you navigate the wireless Apple CarPlay. One of the surprises of the Palisade was seeing the option for an UV cleaning option in the armrest, which is perfect for things like your phone and other small items.

Under the hood, the 3.5L V6 engine is delivering 287 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. It is connected to the 8-speed automatic and to the HTRAC AWD. With the different drive modes, you’ll want to avoid the ECO mode when in stop and go traffic or where you’re needing responsive results. There were times where I fully accelerated to quickly change lanes, and it felt like there was a fuel cut to the V6. Once I switched to Normal mode, I didn’t experience the awkward fuel cut feeling.

Overall, I was impressed and felt like I was driving a luxurious SUV but when the as tested price was $58,300, this is definitely a value in today’s pricing.
