2023 Land Rover Range Rover SV Review: Ultimate Luxury

What’s the most expensive press car I’ve had to review? That would be the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover SV that starts at $230,000. Unfortunately I didn’t get the monroney to know exactly what options it had and what the as tested price was. The other surprising thing was the Land Rover website didn’t even have the builder up.

When the Range Rover arrived, I immediately knew this was not something in my budget! The presence of the the Range Rover was so impactful, that it accomplished this with a plain white color. One of my favorite styling cues were the bumpers that weren’t extruding from the body. It gave the Range Rover such a clean design and not something you often with safety regulations. The other thing that stood out was the colored accents throughout the exterior. Depending on the lighting, it would range between an oxidized bronze, to a rose gold shade.

Getting in was a complete experience. You’d first have to pull on the door handles that would pop out from being part of the body. You hop in and sit in the most comfortable seats I’ve ever experienced. With the Range Rover having massive doors, if you didn’t close them all the way, you won’t have to worry as it will automatically finish closing it. The finishes in the interior were incredible and excess was the theme to this interior. The only non excessive thing were the fact that this massive SUV only sat 4. All 4 seats had heated, vented, and massage options. The best seat in the Range Rover would be behind the passenger as you’ll be able to move the front passenger seat to stretch your legs on the the platform the front seat provided.

Under the hood, the V8 engine propelled the Range Rover to some physics defying speeds. Even with all the noise isolation, I’m glad the engine roar was still audible and it was glorious. The air suspension made some of our worst roads seem as if they had finally gotten repaired. The driving experience was a serene one and can only be compared to the time I drove the Rolls Royce Cullinan. The Brembo brakes helped get the large Range Rover come to a stop at a relatively short distance.

With the starting price of $230,000, it is safe to say you’ll need to be financially stable to pay for the monthly payment. If I had the means, I wouldn’t hesitate to go to the dealership to start my order.
